FAQ


What is required for me to make a reservation?

You can choose your package and begin to reserve your photo booth at our reservation request page (How to Book). To ensure our availability for your event date, a retainer payment of 50% is required at the time of reserving. The remaining balance can be paid anytime at least 30 days before your event. If your event is in less than 30 days from the time of booking, full payment is required for reservation. If your event gets postponed to a later date, we can apply the payment to a new date at no additional cost depending on our availability. 

 

WILL THERE BE AN ATTENDANT ON DUTY TO HELP OUR GUESTS?

When reserving for an event of less than 80 guests attending, we typically do not have an attendant there for the full event. An attendant fee of $60 will be added when requesting a full-time attendant. When reserving our NUVA BOOTH., an attendant is already included in all packages. We are are highly trained in the art of modern photo-boothing. We will arrive 30 minutes before your time, set up and break down the photo booth, assist your guests with using the booth & sharing content ready to be posted on social media. Our booth attendants ensure everyone has a memorable experience at your event. 

 

CAN I RENT THE BOOTH FOR  1-2 HOURS?

Yes! For small corporate meetings/events & socials, we offer our Party Booth service at an hourly rental rate (a la carte) of $125/hr plus the service fee. Please contact us if you are interested in reserving for less than 3 hours. 

 

What kinds of props are provided by P IS FOR PARTY?

We’ll bring a collection of hand-selected props for you and your guests to have fun with. We have plenty of funny signs, stylish hats, stellar glasses and even a money gun— just to name a few. We are always in the market searching for the best props and add to our selection often. The choices will vary with event theme and photo booth package chosen.

 

What is a CUSTOM PHOTO OVERLAY?

We have many beautiful design templates that you can have as an option on your event photos with whatever booth you reserve. You can personalize our current selection with any text or color theme you would like; just make sure you let us know. If you want to use your own logo or a fully custom template, be sure to notify us and we can work with you to match the overall look and feel of the event decor, invitations, menu, etc. There is a fee of $15 to add a custom overlay to your package. (additional charges may apply after more than 2 edits/complex designs).

 

do you offer prints?

Unfortunately,  at this time, we do not offer live printing at our events. Our booths are interactive and have animated features such as gif & boomerangs which cannot and do not need to print but are still very popular amongst guests because of our instant sharing options and the ease of posting on social media. When your event is over, your host will receive a zip file  by email with ALL media taken at the event within 24 hours. (That includes all videos, gifs and boomerangs.) You do have the choice to send your digital images for printing to any photo printing lab. We offer photo albums for larger events with our smallest album holding 30 photos. 

 

Can you take black & white photos?

Yes we can! We have a GLAM BOOTH package that you can have for your guests which would set your images to only have a classic black and white, vintage glam look with modern skin smoothing filters. (Usually weddings or more formal events. ex: Black Tie). Otherwise, all of our events have custom filter options on screen when using the booth which do include a grayscale (black&white) option to be manually applied for each photo/video taken.

 

What are the space, venue, and power requirements for the photo booth set-up? Can it be set up outdoors?

- Our NUVA booth space requires a minimum 10' x 10' area, a minimum height of 7'11" for the backdrop.

- Our PARTY booth is an open air booth and requires only space from the backdrop to where it will be placed. (Approx. 5-6 feet)

- A power outlet should be within 20 feet, and the ground must be level.

- We will also need a venue provided table for props. 

- If your have an outdoor venue, the same above requirements apply. 

- Wifi is needed for instant sharing feature, otherwise, media will be sent at end of your event.

 

Where can guests access the photos and how will I receive the photos after the event?

Within 24 hours after the event, your guests can access the event photos via your zip file link and LIVE GALLERY that will be sent to the email of the host. For privacy reasons, we do not leave the live galleries public to all guests unless requested. If you would like your guests/family to be able to view your entire gallery of media from your event, you must let us know.

Back in the old days,  we didn't have cameras on our phones. From kids to your grandparents, with our photo booth, you won’t just have a family portrait, but wacky poses, the biggest smiles and fun for all ages. Guests love the interactive features and the time spent with loved ones while posing!

Form of relaxation and spontaneity 

A break from drinking or dancing! Not all people are naturals in front of the camera. Some are unrelaxed or unnatural, no matter how skillful the photographer is. Our booth services allow guests time to relax and act natural in front of the camera. It takes time but you can be a pro too! Our Party Booth is an "open air concept" booth. An open style booth allows your guests to see all the laughter happening and be enticed to join in & it keeps your options open to everything from beautifully posed group photos to unpredictable photo bombs. Witnessing the fun going on before your eyes is contagious! 

Themes to match your custom decor

Are you having a theme on your big day? Whether you want a shimmery, shiny backdrop, fresh flowers or even just a simple rustic background, you can achieve it & we are here to help. To add to your background, P is for Party has props to match your theme and custom overlay options to give your images that special touch.

Additional photos

A photographer simply can’t photograph everybody at your special event. Some don’t like to be photographed for whatever reason whilst others might just keep missing the photographer as they come around. Our booth service allows guests to take pics in their own way that they feel comfortable, can watch their poses and choose filters, pose with friends and instantly share and post on social media instead of waiting for your set to come back with edits from a photographer. (& we know how long that can take.)
